2009 marks the start of my seventh year as an educator.  After earning my B.A. in Philosophy from Princeton University in 2002, I worked as an English language instructor at a small community college in Rach Gia, Vietnam.  In 2004 I moved to Boston and earned a Master's of Education at UMass Boston while teaching at the technology-focused pilot school TechBoston Academy.  I taught high school for two years at the Urban Science Academy before moving to Brooklyn in 2008.  I am pleased to have joined the UASCJ team!

My interests include digital photography and video, reading the news, cooking, and listening to live music.
